Recipe- Easy Fresh Green Beans

This is a super simple way to prepare fresh green beans! Takes about 8 minutes from start to finish, and adds a nice kick of flavor to something that tends to be a bit boring (ahem, canned green bean friends- I’m looking at you… 😉).

I don’t really measure things out for this, just go by what seems right!

I used approximate amounts of the following ingredients:

1 lb of green beans

2 Tbsp of coconut oil

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

a sprinkle of salt

1/2 cup of water at the end.

You can use less crushed red pepper 🌶 if you need to turn the spice down a bit, but my 13 year old (who doesn’t love spicy) ate these with no problem.
