If You Haven’t Been Successful at Working Toward Your Goals for the Year, It’s Not Too Late!

Here we are, 31 days into 2021. If you are like so many of us, you had at least one thing (if not a long list) you wanted to change or improve for 2021.

So, how is that going?

If you are like 80% of us, you’ve already fallen off the #newyearnewyou wagon. Yep, that’s right. 80% of people give up on their resolutions before the end of January.

Why? There are surely many reasons- unclear or poorly defined goals, they haven’t determined the first action to to take toward a lofty goal, or perhaps they haven’t determined their “why” for the goal (knowing exactly what’s at the heart of your goal helps determine the difference between goals that are truly important and meaningful to you versus goals that you have just because it seems like what you should do). Whatever the case, it’s not too late to regroup and get on track.

We can help! One of the things we do at CrossFit Paladin is sit down with prospective clients and discuss their goals, get to the “why” behind those goals, and then create a plan of action. We will then work with you to set that plan in motion, and before you know it- you’ll be back on track. We will even check in with you at specific points along the way, like 2 weeks in, 4 weeks in, and so on until we know you’ve got a good foundation under you. But even at that point, we will continue to provide accountability. If we see you haven’t been to class in a couple weeks- we will give you a call or shoot you a text to make sure all is well and see when you’ll be in next!

Once you’ve established your routine and start hitting some goals, we will sit down again and set some new goals and create another plan of action. We have members that have been coming for 8+ years, and they still set and achieve new goals regularly! That’s one of the best things about CrossFit- no matter how long you do it, there’s always something new on the horizon to go after!
