My former Coach, Eric Puccio ( CrossFit Haywire), had a garage gym and had a few early morning clients. He would work with me for days on Double Unders on a single mat in his driveway. I will never forget the day they started to click and I caught on. Coach Eric passed away a few years ago and I still attribute my CrossFit motivation to him. I loved his early morning workouts in his one car garage, running up and down his neighborhood streets with the neighbors always curious as to what we were doing. As I was working on my Ed.D, I realized that I was doing a lot of things that didn't make me happy. I found that CrossFit was the start to my happiness. I am not sure that I have ever had a major turning point in my CrossFit career, but I will say that the fact that I still continue to make my early morning workouts a priority is something that I am proud of and is a great way to start my day.
Motivation & Passion
I love coaching. I love seeing people do things they never thought they could do. I love motivating and encouraging people to be the best person they can be. I believe that greatness is for everyone. I believe that winning takes many different shapes and forms. I love learning and teaching skills and I love helping others realize they are winners and they deserve to define what greatness looks like to them.
